About Them...
Manufactured by Pebeo of France. The Transparent Colours
are for use on light coloured or white fabric. These concentrated colours reduce with water for dye-like effects. The fabric remains soft. The Fluorescent Colours
are also transparent, great impact used alone or an excellent brightener when mixed with other colours. The Opaque Shimmers
are beautiful iridescent colours that have the added feature of being an effective resist for the serti technique. Dilute them with water for a delicate shimmer. Use the neutral shimmer to add glow to any of the other colours. The
Opaque Colours
are "use on anything" paints. They are a must when painting over dark coloured fabrics. Colour charts are included with colours and prices, click on bar above or below.

How To Fix Them...
- Dry iron cotton setting on reverse of fabric for 5 minutes. Place articles in a preheated oven for 5 minutes at 150ºC, 300ºF or use your hair dryer to blow dry umbrellas. Fixed paints may be washed
up to 40ºC, 104ºF or dry cleaned. Let the paints air cure 48 hours before washing. We have found adding a drop or two of our pigment fixative, #950 Resfix, ensures the colour stays in place for life.

What It Can Do...

Accessories...
The Lightening Medium... lightens the colour without thinning the paint, mix as desired.
The Thickener...
thickens the paint if necessary for stenciling or printing...a little goes a long way.
The Expandable Paint...
may be mixed with Setacolor, the paint expands during fixation by ironing or blow drying.
The Colourless Masking...
is used to block colour from desired areas, apply by brush. Avoid painting over the masking when applying the paints. The masking washes out after fixation.
The Glue For Fabrics... may be used to glue fabrics to wood, other fabrics, cardboard, etc. It will not stain, it is not washable.
The Silver and Gold Glitter Finish... is applied over dry Setacolor, fix by pressing 5 minutes with a hot iron. Washable at or below 40ºC, 104ºF.
The Taffeta Finish... is also applied over dry Setacolor and fixed by pressing for 5 minutes with a hot iron. Washable at or below 40ºC, 104ºF.
