Setaskrib Plus Fabric Markers...
|
|
|
Use on...
Natural or synthetic fabrics, clothing or accessories
About them...
Felt tip markers with bright and transparent colour. They may be mixed together on the fabric. Using them one on top of the other without letting them dry creates
blended colours. Layering them after a colour is dry produces transparency effects, the colour on top is effected by the colour underneath. Store the pens flat.
Great because...
Very easy to use for stenciling, flat washes and producing gradations. Use these markers to easily teach
children fabric painting, particularly good for decorating cotton like fabrics and decorating T-shirts. They may also used for silk painting to colour within the gutta lines. Apply on the tip for
fine lines, on the side for broad strokes. The colours coordinate well with both Setacolor Fabric Paints and Setasilk Silk Paints for added painted details.
Fixation...
Air dry for 30 minutes then fix by ironing, (dry iron - cotton setting, a little less hot for silk), 2 to 3
minutes on the back side. Let set 48 hours before washing. Wash at 40°C (100°F).

Pental Dye Sticks...
"Fabricfun" Pastel Dye Sticks by Pentel. The bright and easy way to create fabric designs. Colour the design on the fabric of your choice. To make the colours permanent and washable, cover with paper
and press using a hot iron. The colours are most brilliant on white or pastel fabrics. Cotton, wool or silk are ideal choices. Avoid 100% synthetic fibers such as nylon because they do not withstand
the hot temperatures required for fixation.
Set of 15 colours...$6.35

Crayola Transfer Crayons...
Unfortunately these are no longer being manufactured. Similar to our Transfer Paints but in a convenient crayon form. Eight nontoxic colours: Yellow,
orange, red, blue, purple, green, brown and black. Apply colours to paper then iron transfer onto fabric. For colour permanency choose 100 percent synthetic fabrics. Keep in mind that any design you
make will transfer backwards. So if you write words or letters make them backwards. If fabric has more than one layer, such as a T-shirt, place white paper between layers to avoid colour transfer.
Decorated fabrics can be machine washed, warm or cold water, gentle cycle. Allow to air dry. Do not put in a dryer. Package of 8 colours...$4.50

How to use Crayola Fabric Crayons...
1. Draw heavily on a piece of white paper. Brush away any crayon specks. 2. Make an ironing pad by placing newspaper then a piece of white paper over an iron-safe surface.
3. Place the paper upside down on a piece of fabric. 4. Set an iron to cotton (no steam) and iron 1 to 2 minutes over your design. Constantly move the iron. Use a lifting motion to move the iron.
To avoid smears do not allow the paper to move. Ironing should be done by an adult in a well ventilated area. 5. Remove design paper carefully.
|
Crayola Snowflake Design... After you have finished coloring a piece of paper fold and cut it into a snowflake. Unfold and place upside
down to transfer onto the fabric.
