TNA Detergent...
As a prewash—as an after wash—as an always wash for silk. Invisible starch and oils on the fabric can cause uneven dyeing. TNA Detergent is generic Synthropol. Pre washing with TNA helps to remove the
bad stuff before you begin. In the final washout, after fixation, it holds the loose dye particles in suspension so they can't make a mess staining adjacent areas or back onto your silk. Makes for
much better contrast in tie dye. Very concentrated...all it takes is a capful per full sink of water a few teaspoons in the washer. Highly recommended for best results with all dyes.
