pictures of her quilt "Tors Galen - Mountains Green" that she has kindly submitted for your enjoyment.
|
Tors Galen translates to Mountains Green, from JRR Tolkien's works. Jennifer says "The inspiration for this piece came from a walk through our coastal mountains, just when the
first snow for the season began. The circular quilt motifs are my interpretation of the traditional Japanese snow rings".
|
The finished quilt measures 51 by 53 inches constructed from hand dyed silk, most from Opulence. Also included is some bamboo dyed fabric. This piece was included in the West
Coast Textures show, hosted by FibreEssence.
