Way back in 1988 Dye picked up her very first piece of silk and a paintbrush and was immediately enthralled with the endless possibilities of silk painting. What started off as a interest quickly grew into a passion and a full time career. Using Opulence Dyes and Resist she developed a style of art that currently sells all over the world. Dye operates her busy studio from her home in Parksville on Vancouver Island, amidst some of the most naturally beautiful surroundings Canada has to offer. She considers herself blessed with a life filled with art, colour, nature, peace and grace. And with gratitude acknowledges that silk painting has provided the opportunities for these gifts in her life. The pieces shown here are all painted on silk Charmeuse using Opulence Resist and Dyes. All wall pieces are painted by commission only, thus all shown here already have a happy home. Prices quoted are in Canadian Dollars.
