Project Instruction

Instruction for Various Easy Projects

Quick Immersion Tie Dye: A method of tie dying shirts that cuts the time and fuss. Great for schools, parties and clubs.

Textural Plastic Bag Dyeing Cotton With Reactive MX: This is a quilter's favourite for dyeing colour runs or coordinating fabric quickly and easily. The dyeing is done in disposable zip lock bags - of course you could always do shirts, socks, pants, blouses - well, you get the idea.

Microwave Technique: Another super easy method for dyeing variegated or blended colour on natural fabrics, ribbons, embroidery threads, etc. - Our Opulence Dyes are great for silk scarves or our silk and rayon velvet. A snap for beginners and a wonderful way to dye background colour for layering techniques.

Fish Printing: or Gyotaku, not really quick if you have to go fishing, but catch a fish or in a pinch buy one, paint it and print it.
