lt was started by each student painting a 15 X 15 inch square of fabric of their own music theme design. Carla picked a color assortment of Opulence Silk Painting Dyes so the final piece would coordinate.
Students put an outline of Opulence water based resist onto the silk, let it dry then painted in the dye colours. The quilt is framed with cotton and at the bottom is written "If music be the food of
love,,,play on" from Shakespeare. The script was done in fabric paint.
