1. Hook the fabric onto the needle, placing the mark directly over the
needle. Pull down to put tension onto the fabric.
2. With one hand hold the fabric and the end of the string, have the string running up to the needle.
3. Hold the wooden dowel in the other hand and place it underneath the needle threader shaft.
4. Next bring it over the needle threader shaft and drop it through the loop of string that was formed.
5. Maneuver this loop around the fabric just below the point of the
needle and pull the dowel to the right to tighten the knot.
6. Repeat this knot again in the same place to reinforce. The more loops
that are made, the wider the resisted ring will be.
7. This knot will produce a tiny square like resisted area around a dyed center.
8. To release the knots pull on the string.
